Piece Together a Portrait of Winter
We’re excited to share a new way to experience the art of Hope Gangloff—an extraordinary contemporary painter whose work was recently featured in our Portrait of the Artist series. If you missed it, you can find it here. One of Gangloff’s aims now is to give nature that “jostling, moving personality that a person has.” She says, “I love the trees that surround me, and boy, I wouldn’t trade them for the world. I love watching the seasons moving in and out.” If you missed it, you can find it here.
This limited-edition jigsaw puzzle showcases her vivid painting Rose of Sharon in Winter, a stunning example of her expressive use of color and textured brushwork. Gangloff’s portraits, often set in the upstate New York landscape where she now lives, are full of life, intimacy, and a kind of quiet observation.
Not only is working on a puzzle a form of meditation, it’s also a way to get to know a work of art on a more intimate level.

Our 500-piece puzzle measures 18″ x 24″. It’s printed in the United States with a soft-touch finish that makes every piece feel as carefully considered as the painting itself.
