Saul Bellow

Saul Bellow won the 1976 Nobel Prize for Literature, the Pulitzer Prize, and three National Book Awards. This essay, which will appear in the book There Is Simply Too Much to Think About, was delivered during a seminar at the University of Chicago in 1984. Bellow died in 2005.
