Teri Michele Youmans is at work on a memoir, Wisecracker: A Good Girl in the Deep South, about alligator hunting, generational abuse, and dancing with the devil. She is the author of two books of poetry—Becoming Lyla Dore and Dirt Eaters—and is a professor in the MFA program at the University of Nebraska Omaha.
