Update on our iOS App

We are sorry to announce that The American Scholar will no longer be publishing its iOS app. That platform that we’ve been building our application with has stopped supporting publishers like ourselves. After investigating alternatives, we’ve decided that the best course of action is to discontinue the app.

We’d like to offer you a free one-year subscription to theamericanscholar.org, giving you complete access to our responsive website. We hope you’ll take us up on this offer.

After one year, a one-year subscription renewal is $9.99.

Apple should refund you what your remaining subscription is worth. Please contact them and request it if Apple does not automatically do this.
