Caroline Alexander, whose translation of the Iliad was published in 2015, is the author of The Endurance, The Bounty, and The War That Killed Achilles. Her journalism has appeared in The New Yorker, Smithsonian, Outside, and National Geographic. She founded the Department of Classics at the University of Malawi.
