Dolores Hayden is professor of architecture and American studies at Yale, and is the author of several books about the history of American landscapes as well as two poetry collections, American Yard and Nymph, Dun, and Spinner. Her recent poems have appeared in The Yale Review, Southwest Review, and The Best American Poetry 2009.
