George Vaillant

George Vaillant is a professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and a consultant psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital. He has spent the past 35 years as director of the Study of Adult Development at the Harvard University Health Service, which has charted the lives of 824 men and women for almost 70 years. He is the author of Adaptation to Life and Aging Well.
