Izidora Angel is a Bulgarian-born writer and literary translator based in Chicago. Her writing has appeared in A Public Space, Astra Magazine, Chicago Reader, and elsewhere. Her forthcoming translation of She Who Remains by Rene Karabash won a PEN/Heim Translation Fund Grant and the Gulf Coast Prize in Translation. She is at work on a memoir.
