Lynell George

Lynell George is a Los Angeles–based journalist and essayist. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, Alta, Sierra, Oxford American, Preservation, and Smithsonian. Her latest book, A Handful of Earth, A Handful of Sky: The World of Octavia E. Butler, was a finalist for the Hugo Award in 2021.
