Jonathan Weiner is the author of The Beak of the Finch, winner of the Pulitzer Prize; Time, Love, Memory, winner of the National Book Critics Circle Award; and, most recently, Long for This World, a New York Times Notable Book of the Year. His work has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine, Slate, and elsewhere. He is the Maxwell M. Geffen Professor of Medical and Scientific Journalism at Columbia University.
